365N-V Automatic Liquid Shut-Off Vessel – 1/2" NPT

The Headline Filters 365N-V Automatic Liquid Shut-Off Vessel is designed to protect gas analysers, sample conditioning systems and other sensitive downstream instrumentation from unexpected liquid carryover.

The vessel captures slugs of water or condensate entering the process or sample line before they can reach expensive downstream equipment.

As liquid collects inside the transparent nylon bowl, the internal PVC float mechanism rises with the liquid level. When the collected liquid reaches the shut-off level, the float-operated cone automatically closes the outlet flow path, stopping further flow downstream and helping prevent liquid from passing into the analyser or instrumentation.

Once the source of the liquid ingress has been identified, the collected liquid can be removed using the manual brass drain at the base of the bowl.

How It Works

During normal operation, gas flows through the 365N-V while the internal float remains in its lower position.

If water or condensate enters the line, it collects within the nylon bowl.

As the liquid level rises, the PVC float rises with it. When the liquid reaches the predetermined shut-off level, the float-operated cone closes the outlet and stops downstream flow before the collected liquid can pass out of the vessel.

The bowl can then be manually drained before the system is returned to normal operation.
